Hally is brilliant at Maths, but not so good with history. After visiting a Holocaust museum, he is preoccupied with calculating the time it would take an evil dictator to destroy the world, and loses touch with his only friend; Taku an expressive tamagotchi.

Hally is a mixed media film and was funded via the UK Film Council, The Arts Council of Wales and Sally Pearce Media. The live action footage was shot on HD, and then animated using paint on glass by Sally Pearce and her team. The paint on glass animation was captured with digital stills whilst other animation was computer generated.

The film premiered at Chicago Int. Children's Film Festival, Oct 22nd, 2011, where it won 2nd place in the Adult Jury Live Action Short section.
